Happy 40th Birthday To ME!

Today is my 40th (!) birthday, and I get to have my love, Leila, back with me an hour into my 40th birthday. I picked her up from the airport this morning at 1am, after a 5 month trip to India. Her Travel Blog on this is here. It’s so good to see her again and hear all about her experiences in India and experience also her reverse culture shock. I will ask her to write her own blog in the coming weeks, as she re-adjusts back to life in the West.

Below are some pics we took at Leila’s Mom’s house during Christmas, where she broke out the celebratory stuff and helped me feel like it was more official! Yes, that’s Wheat-Free, Dairy-Free Vegan Chocolate Cake! Woo!
